These Seller Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Yamikart Seller Application and Seller Portal operated by Yamikart Pvt. Ltd. (“Yamikart”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By registering as a seller on the Yamikart platform, you agree to comply with these Terms.
Yamikart is an online marketplace platform that allows independent sellers to list and sell their products to customers through the Yamikart mobile application and website.
Yamikart provides the technology platform to facilitate transactions between sellers and customers.
To become a seller on Yamikart, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Provide accurate personal and business information
Comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations
Provide valid bank details for receiving payouts
Yamikart reserves the right to approve or reject seller registrations at its discretion.
Sellers agree to:
Maintain accurate account and store information
Keep login credentials secure
Ensure product listings are accurate and lawful
Comply with marketplace policies and applicable laws
Sellers are fully responsible for activities conducted through their seller accounts.
Sellers are responsible for:
Providing accurate product descriptions
Uploading genuine product images
Maintaining inventory availability
Setting correct pricing
Sellers must ensure that listed products do not violate any laws or intellectual property rights.
Prohibited products may include:
Illegal items
Counterfeit products
Restricted or regulated goods
Yamikart reserves the right to remove any listing that violates platform policies.
When a customer places an order:
Sellers must process and fulfill the order within the specified time
Sellers must ensure products are properly packaged
Sellers must provide genuine products as described in the listing
Failure to fulfill orders may result in penalties or account suspension.
Payments made by customers will be processed through Yamikart’s payment partners.
Seller payouts will be transferred to the registered bank account after:
Successful order delivery
Deduction of applicable marketplace commissions, service fees, and taxes
Payout schedules may vary depending on platform policies.
Sellers must comply with the marketplace return and refund policy.
Customers may request returns if:
The product is damaged
The product is defective
The product received is different from the order
Sellers may be required to accept returns and provide replacements or refunds as per platform rules.
Yamikart may charge sellers:
Commission on product sales
Platform service fees
Payment processing charges
These charges may be updated from time to time.
Sellers must ensure that product listings, images, and descriptions do not violate the intellectual property rights of third parties.
Yamikart reserves the right to remove any content that violates intellectual property laws.
Yamikart may suspend or terminate seller accounts if:
Marketplace policies are violated
Fraudulent activities are detected
Illegal or prohibited products are listed
Customer complaints are repeatedly received
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yamikart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the seller’s use of the platform.
Sellers are responsible for their products, listings, and transactions.
Yamikart reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms will be published on the platform with the revised effective date.
Continued use of the seller platform indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Bhojpur, Bihar, India.
